I was impressed with the level of service provided to me by Budget Rent a car. After having read all of the negative reviews I was very concerned and apprehensive about renting from this company, but I disregarded it and chose to go through with the rental anyways. I was greeted and taken care of pretty fast. The customer service agent named Shelly was very friendly and informative. The car was a good car which did have some markings on, but it was noted on the agreement. I would definitely recommend budget again as my experience with them was pretty good. Thank you for making my trip enjoyable!

Im not sure what all the negative reviews were about. This was honestly the best car rental experience Ive ever had. From the low price to the modern car, to checkout and return, it was smooth as butter. 10am on a Saturday nobody in line. I will definitely be renting from Budget again!

I did not expect too much from this company. My opinion was based on feedbacks but I was surprised. I took my vehicle in Dubai airport. Everything was almost excellent. The man on the front desk was very affable. All process did not take much time. The vehicle was almost new and clean. So I am fully satisfied.

After having an issue with the initial car, the Budget rep switched out the car for another. Took only a couple of minutes. They sometimes upgrade me to a better car when theres one available with no additional charge. I love that!

The representative was very courteous and knowledgeable with the car rental. I placed my order online and when I arrived the vehicle was waiting on me and I was given a free upgrade. The car was new, clean and had all of the bells and whistles to make riding around a pleasant and wonderful experience.

This is an excellent location! I picked up from here and dropped off too they make it so easy that its a pleasure dealing with them. I would highly recommend using them where you get it for cheap and get it the easy way! You get only clean cars, and new ones so you get it like a brand new car, try it, love it!

Ive rented several cars here for both myself and family. I prepay on the website. I walk in pick up my car and leave. Ive never had a problem here...not sure why it takes some people so long at the counter but Im always on line ready with my DL and credit card ready and Im at the counter and to my car quicker than most

The agency is a scam - quoted one price over the phone, but after the return of the car they claimed a much higher tariff and charged the difference from my card without my consent. Stay away, this agency is fraud.

Definitely check the ratings before renting from this company. They charged me for a full day for an additional hour. They did not mention anything upon returning the car, did not leave any receipt and did not send an invoice afterwards. Since I had a future, longer booking they promised to give me a refund. Nothing happened for 10 days so upon returning to Dubai I rented from next booth. Much better price, service and brand new Nissan.UPDATE: I just read your reply. Whoever wrote it just did a perfunctory cut and paste of a standard reply without even bothering to check what happened. I have written countless times to the care mail address. They do not care at all. Avoid this company carefully.

Very professional, last week, the lady explained the importance of having insurance when renting a car. Very helpful.

Pleasant staff, doing good job considering the Covid restrictions, and staff reductions.

Firstly, there is no possibility to pickup the car in case of online reservation in an own queue. Therefore we had to wait nearly 20 Minutes because in front of us where people asking for tarifs and cars. One of them found out after 10 minutes, that his driving license is not valid. Secondly the following procedure was terrible and chaotic. Afterwards we were asked to wait 10 Minutes for our car. 40 minutes later and after several requests a damaged and unprofessional repaired car were presented. It was obvious that there must have been a heavy damage with differences in the paintjob at the right door, front and ripples in the fender. The overall condition was in a way, that the registration of every single damage wasn’t possible. I had to refuse this car and after 10 more minutes we received a new car. After all a real terrible expierence and not worthy for Dubai! Therefore I understand the other negative ratings and wont recommend this rental company.And please dont answer with the same text as you made with the other totally comprehensible ratings! Change your staff!

2 bad things with this company:1. Once you pay by a card they steal your card data to charge later without any confirmations or sending a bill letter. You as a client can’t control extra hidden charges or at least understand what for it is charged.2. They don’t answer for phone calls. It almost impossible to reach them by a phone. One of 3 numbers they give you even is out of service.P.S. It isn’t possible to pay via ApplePay because this way they won’t be able to steal your card data.

Worst car rental I have ever used. I returned the car SAME fuel level & they charged me 50AED extra for nothing. I am going to report then to the Commerce Dept of Gov of Dubai and make sure they are stopped from trading. This is serious violation of trust of thousands customers. Worst Rental Car ever never rent at this place:1. The phone listed is out of service2. Staff always not at their desk, you have to wait at least few minutes for someone to show up.3. Staff not customer friendly at all, they need a lot of customer service training. They don’t know even to talk politely to customers!4. Hidden charges as in attached pic: Vehicle License Fee, Airport parking fee, and Mileage fee!!!! What is all this I never had similar charges with other rental companies Hertz, Avis, Thrifty and many others.5. They claimed you are only allowed to drive 100Kms per day in UAE!!!! If you exceed you are charged 0.5AED per KM. This is not even mentioned on rental agreement and conditions either on Expedia or on their rental agreement. I challenged employee at airport to show me where it is mentioned he could not find it and he did not have an answer of what is Vehicle License Fees of AED70 I was charged for!6. They charge you credit card without notifying you after you return the car, and they emailed me the invoice after I had to reach out several times and finally someone answered my calls.Overall, it is the worst experience ever with rental company. I advise any customer to look for a different car rental. I rented cars many times during my travels either for business or for vacation with family. This is my first and my last time renting with payless/Budget. My message: Rent a car from any other rental but dont come near Budget/ Payless!!! Its a rip off....

Made a reservation online and got charged double when I arrived to pick up the car. I realized that after paying and decided to cancel the reservation to get a refund. 10 days later I find out the girl at the desk never cancelled the reservation.

Worst rental company ever. I wish there were negative stars to select. AVOID AVOID AVOID rental from the Dubai Airport location.Rented a car on Dec17,19 and paid in full for 5 days. Returned the car on Dec 22 with a full tank of gas and in pristine condition.Then They have charged me $240 on Dec 22nd and $271 on Dec 28. I am from Canada and I disputed those two illegal charges.These are complete crooks. The Philippine man at the counter is the worst customer service. There is a one good old Indian man at the counter in the parking area but he is not the decision maker for illegal charges.People: PLEASE AVOID THESE CROOKS. I HAVE ALL THE PROOF.

I arrived at the counter at 11pm with my family after an 8 hour flight and had to wait very long to get all the paper work done for the car I had reserved 3 weeks ago. When the paper work was done, the gentleman indicated that the car was not ready and we would have to wait 15 minutes. We ended up waiting 45 minutes, In addition to the 45 minutes it took to get the paperwork done.Exhausted I drove the car to the hotel. The next day I almost got into an accident because it turns out, the breaks of the car were faulty. I had to spend another few hours to exchange the car. I will never use budget again, anywhere in the world. With a name like that, I should have known better than to expect any quality.

I had rented a car from Dubai airport for four days. On the second day the car got breakdown in Abu Dhabi (battery fault).I tried to contact all the numbers (Dubai, Abu Dhabi and toll free number) which was mentioned in the contract but got somebody to answer the phone after one hour. Some of the phone numbers mentioned in the contract is not even existing. Toll free number was automatically disconnecting after pressing option 2 (Operations). Is it normal to get reply on the call like this. I was on the road for more than three hours to get a replacement car.This is ridiculous for someone who rent a car and get stuck on the road for 3 hours. Now another problem I am facing is as per contract fuel has to be returned full but when the breakdown happened the tank was half empty. Now budget is going to charge (double the normal rate) for the petrol as informed by the staff at the counter which is not because of the customer fault.And the customer problem of stuck in the road for more than three hours which is not considered here. The way the staff reacted as it is normal. This is not acceptable from a reputed company like BudgetIf I can give negative stars for Budget Rent a Car then I will give a lot. Never ever allow my friends or colleagues to hire from them.VERY BAD........Update on 12-11-2019 - They charged my credit card double the amount and send me a bill today.

I am really disappointed with the service. They make up new thing just to make u pay and keep the deposit. Make sure check the tire if u still planning to rent and don’t take the car if u see any thing scratch in the tire or tell them to write in the note.P. S they don’t give there ID number

Really bad experience with them. Its a lot to type but a quick summary:Got a car with 103kms. Had booked a mid size but got a small. When i mentioned this, the guy at the counter conviced me that the car was actually midsize.The car was vibrating on the highway, and was filthy inside. So the following day i called to for an exchange. Finally at 10pm a rep from the company came to exchange the car and gave me a car that was finally mid size and has 25k kms. He then tells me that at the time they didnt have mid size and thats why we were given a small size vehicle. Mind you, if i didnt call to creare a fuss, the exchange wouldnt have happened and they tried to convice me that the car was a midsize.Anyways, at 10pm we are standing outside inspecting the car for dents and scratches. Im pointing put small things and the guy says oh dont worry about such small dings and dents, those we ignore. Ie stone chips and etc. I said no mark them down still because the car has a lit.At the time of returning the vehicle, the receiving agent parked the car under nicely lit parking spot and exmines the car in detail. He comes back saying tha that hes found 5 new stone chips. Mind you, i only drove 25 kms. I told him that the car was inspected at night time with lack of light. He says that isnt his problem are actually my responsibility.To sum it up: cars have too many kms, cars are beat up and have too many dents and scratches, BRUTAL customer service, staff isnt trained at all, and lastly LIARS!!!!

I would give this company negative stars if I could. I KEEEP getting charged for a car I rented months ago. I’ve already been charged more than 5x the original amount. SAVE YOURSELF AND STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL STEAL ALL YOUR LONEY.
